Licensed racing wheel, designed in the style of the steering wheel from the Ferrari 296 GTS supercar at a scale of 7:10, is a product aimed more at beginners and casual racers than hardcore sim racers. The 25.5 cm diameter rim is wrapped in rubber and decorated with carbon-look inserts, and gear shifting is done with paddle shifters. The rotation angle is 240°—this is greater than that of a standard gamepad and sufficient for precise cornering in arcade racing, although for full simulators with realistic physics, this range might be too narrow.

A spring mechanism based on an elastic cord is responsible for returning the wheel to the central position and providing linear resistance when turning. The ThrustMaster T98 Ferrari 296 GTS wheel is equipped with a selector similar to the Ferrari Manettino switch—it allows the changing of one of three driving profiles on the fly, from simplified to the most realistic, which is convenient when playing with people of different experience levels.

The pedal box includes gas and brake pedals, built on patented H.E.A.R.T. HallEffect AccuRate Technology sensors, ensuring longevity and consistent accuracy. The design also includes a display. Compatibility is declared with Windows PCs and Xbox consoles.
