Formula-style detachable steering wheel that is a full-size replica of the Ferrari 2011 car steering wheel, released under the official license of the Italian brand. The model was released back in 2013, yet it remains in Thrustmaster's lineup as an accessible entry point into the world of formula rims. This is not a standalone device — it requires one of the Thrustmaster wheel bases from the T300, T500, TX, TS-XW, or TS-PC series, to which the wheel attaches via a proprietary quick-release mechanism.

The front panel is made of brushed metal, which provides the structure with rigidity and a pleasant inertia when rotating, and the rim is covered with textured rubber for a secure grip. The gear shift paddles replicate the classic formula principle — shifting up and down is done by moving the same paddle in different directions. The ThrustMaster Ferrari F1 Wheel Add-On offers two operating modes: standard, with 13 buttons and two 8-position D-pads, and an advanced mode compatible only with PC, increasing the number of active inputs to 25. Among the controls are two rotary encoders for adjusting car settings right during the race, eight buttons, and three metal three-position switches with a return to center. In standard mode, the wheel is compatible with PC, PS3, PS4, and Xbox One.
