For long trips
A 72-liter travel boot bag from an American manufacturer was created specifically for long hikes, expeditions and travels. Therefore, firstly, it is made of a very wear-resistant water-repellent material: laminated nylon and stitched with double seams. Secondly, it is equipped with various devices for ease of transportation. It can be worn as a handbag, as a backpack and as a shoulder bag (removable straps).
Transport options
On both sides of the product there are 4 compression straps — for rugs, sleeping bags and other tourist equipment. Also around the perimeter of the entire bag there are recesses for carabiners for attaching key chains, additional accessories and other things. The shoulder strap is durable, dense, removable (fastened with carabiners) and adjustable. The straps for the backpack are also removable, so they can only be used when necessary, the rest of the time, on one side, the straps are unfastened with a carabiner and hidden in the end pocket.
Organizing things
Inside there is a mono-compartment to fit as many things as possible. It closes with a D-shaped zipper for easy access to things. Under the lid is a zippered mesh pocket for documents.
For comfort and safety
The main compartment zips can be connected and secured with a padlock, providing extra security for your luggage. And from getting wet, even if the bag got caught in the rain, it protects the layer of fabric covering the zipper from above. Additionally, end rubberized handles are sewn in for greater convenience (carry together, get out of the boot, etc.). The bottom is additionally reinforced.
Summary
Since the weight of the bag is almost 2 kg (1950 g), it is unlikely that you can take it with you in a suitcase to use it later. But it can replace a suitcase, as it is very roomy. In general, such a bag-backpack is an excellent option for long-distance travel: roomy and reliable, reliably saving things and multifunctional. It is not cheap, but the price fully justifies the quality.
