Synology BC500

Synology's branded LAN Network Camera is a high-end outdoor surveillance solution. The directional case of the model is well prepared for difficult operating conditions: it meets the IP67 protection class, is not afraid of high humidity (up to 95%) and frost (down to -30 degrees Celsius). PoE 802.3af technology is designed to simplify the process of organizing video surveillance, that is, both data and power to the device can be transmitted over a single network wire.

The Synology BC500 features a 110-degree 2.8mm prime lens and a high-end 5MP sensor. Thanks to these components, it is possible to broadcast high-definition video, up to 2880x1620 pixels at a frequency of 30 frames per second. Plus, especially for efficient work at night, there is an infrared illumination with a range of up to 30 meters. Functionality includes not only motion and sound detection (there is a microphone), but also recognition of people and vehicles in the frame, the ability to detect intrusion into the security zone. When synchronized with a proprietary mobile application, the user will be able to receive notifications of movement and other alarm situations. By default, a card reader is offered for storing the archive, which correctly works with storage media up to 128 GB.
