Sony ECM-W3S (ECM-W3S.CE7)

A compact wireless system designed for recording clean audio during video shoots, interviews, or content creation. It consists of a miniature transmitter with a built-in omnidirectional microphone and a receiver that connects to a recording device via a 3.5 mm mini-jack. The link between the components is established via Bluetooth, providing stable signal transmission at distances of up to 150 meters (line of sight), giving the operator freedom in choosing angles and not restricting the speaker’s movement.

To achieve high sound quality in various acoustic conditions, several useful functions are provided. The built-in noise suppression filter effectively cuts low-frequency rumble, such as wind noise or an operating air conditioner, making speech more intelligible. In addition, the Sony ECM-W3S wireless system is equipped with an attenuator that allows you to lower the input level to prevent distortion when recording loud sound sources.

Power for the transmitter and receiver comes from built-in batteries, providing up to 6 hours of operation. A notable feature is the ability to power the receiver directly from the Sony Alpha Multi Interface Shoe, eliminating the need to monitor its charge. The set comes in a convenient case that not only protects the devices during transport but also serves as a charging station.
