The projector is good to use, with a good quality display on the wall. It looks nice; its silver, white, and black design fits everywhere — in the room, kitchen, or living room. It fits on any shelf, it's small, and you can take it with you on trips to watch movies on it. It's small and you can take it anywhere, even on an airplane for travel. It looks nice and provides a good quality display on a white wall. The sound is also great, but you generally just need a wall to watch. You can watch anything like YouTube, Netflix, and television. When it's lying down, the quality is worse than when it's standing. When you use it, it has to be constantly plugged in for charging. I bought the storefront version from Allo about a year ago. Compact, fully self-adjusting (focus, colors, "keystone", zoom), Air Play, convenient remote, full Samsung Tizen TV operating system, unexpectedly very high-quality built-in speaker Maximum image quality Full HD, but after half a year of use, problems began with the autofocus. As long as it works, it's all good. Once it breaks, it's trouble. I used it for 2 years, about 1-2 hours a week. Overall, it was okay. But one day, without any reason, visual artifacts appeared all over the screen (pink hues veered one way, and green the other). Online, they say this happens. It happens for no apparent reason to the user. Of course, the warranty has already expired. I contacted the service center. They said the "display board" needs to be replaced. The warranty for the repair is 1 month (which is obviously very little. After that - we'll see). The repair costs about a third of the full price. My impression is that the cause was the build quality, which showed its flaws over time (hence the 12-month warranty after purchase). The reliability of the product really let me down here. The second edition of the portable Samsung The Freestyle projector has remained virtually unchanged in appearance, but has acquired new functions. Which ones exactly? Let's find out.
High-quality picture in Full HD
The model is made in the form factor of a compact barrel on a practical adjustable stand - it allows you to choose the angle of the projector body within 180 °. This ensures the ability to display the image either on the wall or on the ceiling. Samsung The Freestyle 2 has an LED light source with a maximum brightness of 550 lm and a service life of over 30 thousand hours. The size of the broadcast Full HD image can be up to 100 inches diagonally, while the projector has declared support for HDR10 +.
Panoramic view
One of the innovations in the model was the function of panoramic viewing of the image from two paired projectors (up to 160 inches in horizontal orientation and up to 120 inches in vertical orientation). In this version of the broadcast, the image source is limited to a smartphone, which is connected via the SmartThings mobile application. The “smart” functionality of the projector is revealed by the home-grown Tizen operating system - it was borrowed from Samsung smart TVs. The only thing missing from the device is a USB port for connecting data storage devices. But the projector has a microHDMI connector on board.
Rich arsenal
The model includes an automatic image adjustment and trapezoid distortion correction system, surround sound from a built-in 5 W audio system, and a night lamp mode(provided using a lens cover). The projector is supposed to be controlled using a SolarCell remote control with a built-in solar battery. Samsung The Freestyle 2 can be powered from the mains or from an external 32,000 mAh battery, which must be purchased separately. A full battery charge is enough for a 5-hour media viewing marathon.
