I liked the active overheating protection - the charger simply temporarily disconnects until it receives a signal from the charging device that it has cooled down and charging can continue (this is more relevant for headphones, for example, where the heat dissipation area is smaller compared to a smartphone). Originality of the device (not a Chinese no-name), the ability to charge 2 gadgets at once (+ watch, though not relevant for me), as well as fast charging (for 2 phones simultaneously). Includes a 25W power adapter + a meter-long type-c to type-c cable (which separately cost about 2-3k). Plus, it occupies only 1 socket and creates a single spot on the table for charging all devices. The original charger from Samsung with the model index EP-P6300 is used to replenish the energy reserves in the battery tanks of mobile gadgets that support the Qi standard.
Three charging areas
The model got a massive plastic case with a soft-touch coating. The working surface of the device is divided into three zones: two more places are intended for a smartphone in combination with wireless headphones (or two mobile phones), the third platform is for charging Samsung smartwatches. But for the Apple Watch, this place is not suitable because of the difference in the polarity of the magnets of the charger and the "apple" watch.
Charging power
The power adapter for the charging station delivers up to 25W of power with Power Delivery technology. The block communicates with the device via a USB-C — USB-C cable. One gadget has up to 9 W of charging power, and a maximum power of 7.5 W is available for Apple technology. During charging, the LED indicator on the station body lights up: red indicates a normal process, flashing red indicates an incorrect position of the device being charged, green indicates that the device is fully charged. You can dim the LED indication in the settings from smartphones of the Samsung Galaxy S family.
Charging in a case
Charging compatible gadgets on the Samsung EP-P6300 induction surface is possible in protective cases if their thickness does not exceed 3 mm.
