Unusual design
The model looks like an alien accidentally settled among the traditional and familiar flats. This is a kind of hybrid of a hair dryer and a curling iron with an unusual shape in the form of the letter G, which at the same time arouses both interest and distrust. But all fears will immediately go away as soon as you take the styler in your hands and wind the first strand. It is very comfortable, with a well-distributed weight that is not felt during prolonged use, and last but not least, this shape allows you to try new curling methods and different styles. For example, holding the curling iron horizontally will give you natural curls, while flipping it vertically will give you light curls.
However, in addition to a good result, another main task of Rowenta CF4310 is to take care of the hair, which should not only look beautiful, but also remain healthy. It is for this that the curling iron was combined with a hairdryer, calling this innovative Fresh Flow technology. However this is not an ordinary hair dryer that dries hair — during operation, cold air is supplied, protecting curls from overheating and fixing the result. That is, the device simultaneously heats the strand, curling it, and cools it. The ceramic coating with quartz, which provides uniform heating and excellent glide, and the ionization function, which prevents the hair from becoming electrified and adds shine, also take care of the hair.
Quick result
The curling iron itself has a straight shape and a universal diameter of 25 mm for any length, allowing you to create elastic curls, light curls or careless waves. There is no clip here, but in the kit you get a thermal glove so as not to get burned on a hot surface. Within 30 seconds after switching on, the curling iron is ready for use, and the most versatile mode of 170 degrees is initially preset. In total, 8 modes are available with temperatures from 130 to 200 degrees, and the selected settings are displayed on the display. The manufacturer claims that styling takes 40% less time, and this is true: for a light wave, it takes only 3 seconds per strand, for an elastic curl — 6 seconds.
And to make the styling process less tiring and more convenient and safe, we added the Smart Memory option, which remembers the last selected mode before turning it off, auto-off after 30 minutes, a 1.8 m long swivel cord and a thermal mat included. Of course, all of the above resulted in a decent cost, but the device is really worth every penny spent.
