Floating Mesh Dual Flexing Foil. Work from replaceable AA power supplies. Rotary travel lock (protection from children).

Most razor models are only adapted to road conditions, so they can create certain inconveniences for travelers. In the Remington Dual TF70 electric shaver, this problem is solved simply: it works not only on batteries, but also on a pair of standard AA cells. Energy consumption is economical and these two batteries are enough for autonomous operation for 60 minutes. But the possibility of working directly from the network is not provided at all.

The body of the razor is small and compact, thanks to which the product lies perfectly in the palm of your hand and does not create inconvenience during transportation. A mesh shaving system is used, only a dry method. The shaving unit is movable, allowing you to set the optimal angle for a close and soft shave, regardless of the features of the relief of a particular face. Since the design was originally created as a marching one, there is no trimmer in the design - for greater compactness. The kit includes a cover that protects the knife block and a brush for cleaning.

Double floating mesh

The American company Remington, founded in 1937, is a global manufacturer of personal care products that produces hair clippers, electric shavers, epilators and hair care accessories. The Remington Dual TF70 travel shaver belongs to the Dual Track series and is designed for dry shaving only. It features a smart design and an unusual design that turns the razor into a practical and convenient tool on the trip. The model received a classic black plastic body and 2 floating shaving heads with a double grid. The Dual Flexing Foil technology provides optimal contact with facial contours for a close shave. Despite the simplicity of execution and the absence of electronics, buyers note excellent shaving quality, comparable to expensive models of rotary shavers.

Travel lock: cover, fuse and switch

A distinctive feature of the razor is a rotary travel lock (protection from children), blocking the inclusion of the device on the road. The lock is made of transparent plastic and is a protective rotary screen that, when closed, covers the shaving head mesh. In order to turn on the shaver, you need to turn the screen plate by 180 ° until the starting contact closes. In fact, the razor does not have a traditional power switch, and the twist travel lock doubles as a mesh safety cover, an accidental start fuse and an on/off switch. The solution is interesting, but rather controversial: many users would prefer a separate cover and a regular switch button.

Powered by AA batteries

Under the front cover with the Remington logo there is a battery compartment for 2 standard AA batteries (included), and a brush for cleaning the razor is hidden in a special compartment in the back cover. The operation of the appliance from replaceable batteries allows the use of both conventional batteries and rechargeable batteries. This is an indisputable advantage of the device: when the power sources are discharged, it is enough to change the batteries without wasting time on a long charging cycle. The maximum operating time of the device on a full charge is 60 minutes, which is enough for about 10 – 12 shaving procedures. Since the shaver is not designed to be powered from a household outlet, it does not come with a mains cable.
