Large-format tablet model of 2025 from Xiaomi's sub-brand, focused on the balance between price and performance. Based on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 platform with Adreno 810 graphics. With a score of about 900,000 points in AnTuTu, it's a solid mid-range plus that can handle demanding games and multitasking without noticeable slowdowns. With 8 GB of RAM, this chip provides comfortable operation; 256 GB of built-in storage is enough for large media libraries, and a microSD card slot allows expansion up to 2 TB.
The screen on the Poco Pad M1 tablet is a 12.1-inch IPS with a resolution of 2560x1600 and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Triple TÜV Rheinland certification (flicker, blue light, circadian rhythm) indicates attention to comfort during prolonged use. However, unlike some competitors in this price range, there's no Dolby Vision support here. Four speakers with Dolby Atmos and claimed volume boost up to 300% provide significant audio capabilities for its class. A 12,000 mAh battery charges at 33W, and the 27W reverse wired charging function allows the tablet to be used as an external battery for a smartphone or headphones — convenient on the go. Supports the proprietary POCO Smart Pen stylus.

If it weren't for the lousy sound, I would give it a 5, but as it is, it's a 4. Of course, for this price, there are better tablets, but they're also more expensive. Not a bad screen and size for consuming content. You won't mind if something happens to it since it's a budget option. The biggest minus is its flat and not voluminous sound. |
Awesome Display
One of the main features of the Poco brand tablet is the 12.1-inch touchscreen, which provides convenient control and high-quality images. The display has a 2.5K resolution (2560x1600 pixels), supports 10-bit color, Dolby Vision technology, and a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth motion. The standard light sensor automatically adjusts brightness up to 600 nits, and an additional color temperature sensor increases eye comfort. The screen's safety is certified by TÜV Rheinland.
Hardware for Various Scenarios
The Poco Pad M1 256 GB is powered by a high-performance Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 mobile processor with eight cores and a clock speed up to 2.7 GHz. Fast performance is supported by 8 GB of RAM, and there's 256 GB of internal storage for apps and data. If needed, it can be expanded with a memory card up to 2 TB. For studying and work, including creating or editing graphics, the tablet supports branded accessories — Smart Pen stylus and Pad M1 Keyboard stand.
Reverse Charging and Other Features
The tablet features an audio system with four speakers and modern wireless interfaces: Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4, as well as a universal Type-C port for data transfer and charging. The 12000 mAh battery ensures long autonomy — for example, up to 14 hours of video playback. An additional advantage is the support for reverse charging up to 27 W, allowing you to charge a smartphone, TWS earphones, and other gadgets from the tablet.
Drawbacks of the model include the lack of a fingerprint scanner or other modern authentication methods. If this is not critical, the Poco Pad M1 256 GB is a good choice: the tablet offers good performance and can replace a basic laptop for studying or everyday work tasks.
