Model overview based on user reviews
The Pirelli Scorpion Verde tires are highly regarded for their versatility and comfort, making them an excellent choice for city driving, highways, and light off-road conditions. Users appreciate their good grip on both dry and wet surfaces, excellent braking performance, and durability. They are described as quiet and smooth, with a stable performance at high speeds. However, some users note that the tires can be harsh over joints and cracks and may exhibit skidding on wet asphalt. There are mixed reviews regarding their performance in ruts, with some experiencing issues with road holding and side slip in corners. Despite these concerns, many users find them to be a reliable and economical option, especially for SUVs and crossovers. The tires are praised for their impact-resistant sidewalls and wear resistance, although some report quicker wear under aggressive driving conditions. Overall, the Pirelli Scorpion Verde is recommended for those seeking a balance of comfort, performance, and durability.

I've been driving for over 30 years and have used a variety of tires. When I bought a new car with 235/55/19 tires and read the reviews, I wanted to change it while I was driving a winter one, but after receiving no offers, I started using it. I drove from Moscow to the Crimea and there it behaves great along the serpentines, on the way back a vibration appeared at speeds over 140 km , arrived, balanced, vibration disappeared. I went to St. Petersburg along the M11, the tires behave well, but if we compare, I liked the Michelin 275/45/19 more on the previous car and the last tires on the other car, the Goodyear 255/55/18 asymmetrical 3, generally good tires, more resistant to wear than the Michelin. I drove about 20 thousand km on the Pirelli Verde last summer. wear is barely noticeable. I was most worried about the track based on the reviews, but my fears were not justified. In general, it seems to me that it depends more on the car. Before this car I had 3 Touaregs with air, and any tire there drove very well in the rut, but now a Mercedes without air holds the road worse. Soft, economical, silent, wear-resistant. The road holding is a little worse than the Michelin. use Pirelli Scorpion Verde 235/55 R19 101V more than year |
Stock tyres on my car. Size 235/55/R18. I use the third year. In my impression, very good asphalt tyres. Handling and braking on asphalt. Good hydroplaning resistance. Very durable. Not particularly noisy - on the track, aerodynamic noise is heard more than tyres. A bit hard – I would recommend them only for cars with soft suspension. Sensitive to ruts on asphalt. At least, in my size. Absolutely helpless off the asphalt. Traction on sand is simply non-existent. On mud, the car is practically unmanageable. One consolation is that you won't get stuck in it either. |
Excellent handling, I enjoy the rides, moderately stiff, economical. No issues with them!!!! Premium-class tires are the original equipment for BMW X5, Volkswagen Touareg, and Škoda Kodiaq. Didn’t notice. Not rigid. use Pirelli Scorpion Verde 235/55 R17 99V more than year |
