The Nitecore EF1 handheld flashlight is designed with an eye on operation in especially dangerous conditions. Not without reason, after all, he was awarded the label "Explosion-proof" — the model is accredited as electrical equipment for use in a potentially explosive environment.

Indestructible character

The indestructible body of the flashlight with a bare carcass weight of about 250 g is resistant to mechanical damage, is not afraid of dirt and water. The minimum wall thickness of the case is 3.5 mm. Glass one centimeter thick is glued to the sealant and clamped with a retaining ring. Rays of light from the Cree XM-L2 U3 diode break through its thickness, which reach a distance of up to 270 m in the maximum brightness mode of 830 lm.

Switching light brightness modes is carried out by a slider near the head of the flashlight. We have already said about the maximum power, at the average level the luminous flux is 320 lm, and at the minimum level — 4 lm. The energy core of the flashlight is an 18650 battery with a protrusion on the positive contact; a CR123 battery can be used to replace it.
