A powerful and bright flashlight designed for camping, travel and home use. The brightness of the lamp is increased to 1000 lm. Among the additional features, it is important to highlight the PowerBank function. The battery pack contains a 18650 battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh. Connection interfaces: micro-USB (charging a flashlight) and USB Type A (charging external devices). When the ring mode is turned on at maximum brightness (360°), the all-round range is about 21 meters.

Instead of all-round ring illumination, the NEBO Galileo 1000 flashlight allows you to turn on the one-sided illumination mode, lumen width: 120°, range: 17 meters, brightness: 300 lm. There is also an economical circular glow mode that reduces the brightness to 100 lm. The model is equipped with additional signal lighting. There are two options for red LED backlight: 15 lm and 2 lm. Instead of a classic handle, a hanging bracket with a lock is used. The holder allows you to comfortably carry the flashlight from place to place, as well as safely hang the light. The device body is protected from dust and moisture. The interface panel is covered with a rubber plug. The set includes a USB cable for recharging.

Solid model for "home" use
30 November 2025
- A solid-looking and sizable flashlight. Compared to another similar one (2E PLBL1844), it's like night and day. You can really feel that it's a camping option for stationary use (though some might find the large size a drawback). Visually, the model doesn't look like a toy either, the plastic is decent, though internal elements ("radiator" under the glass) also look plastic. Not embarrassing to give it as a gift.
- Very bright. It easily covers a 20m room. However, there's a downside to it. It blinds you if you look at the LEDs since the "glass" (though it also seems like plastic) is not matte. And there's no brightness adjustment. There’s a beam focus mode (meaning only the front LEDs can work, or both front and back).
- Due to its high brightness, there’s a problem with the on/off button, as it's relatively small on such a monster—requires practice to aim correctly.
- The charging port is also disappointing, as it's an outdated microUSB. Well, no one expected high phone charging speed: the feature exists—and that's already good.
- Powered by a replaceable 18650 battery. If desired, you can buy a higher capacity one and swap them, allowing the flashlight to work nonstop.
- Additionally, it can also be powered by 6 D-type batteries. A questionable solution, as it eats up half the volume of the flashlight. That's why it looks so powerful and solid. I like it, but for tourism and minimalism, it's obviously a drawback.
