Model overview based on user reviews
The Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio headphones are known for their excellent sound quality and active noise cancellation, which can be toggled on and off. Users appreciate the deep and smooth bass, making them ideal for genres like electronic music and rap. However, they require batteries, which can be inconvenient, and some users report that the headphones allow external sound to leak in, disturbing others in quiet environments. The detachable cable and comfortable design are praised, though the microphone quality on the second cord is noted as subpar. While the headphones are visually appealing and offer a strong brand presence, some users feel they are overpriced compared to alternatives like ACG or Sennheiser, which may offer better sound quality. Overall, these headphones are more suited for professional use rather than casual listening in public spaces.

Not for the amateur
15 September 2011
First of all, it is far from being for amateur listening to music via an mp3 player. I don't know how to describe the sound, but in a nutshell - clear and loud. The cable in the kit is quite long
Excellent sound! Two qualities stood out: 1. Active noise isolation - can be turned on and off; 2. No hissing at high volume... I advise you not to be lazy with the settings. If you set up the sound correctly, but any music will sound good
They work on batteries. Ears sweat...

for me it's cool

take it, you won't regret it if you have money
1. Strong power for such small headphones is realized through batteries, which is a + since + power comes from batteries and not from the player, the player holds a charge longer. + clear sound without interference, another plus is the detachable cord and comfort, oh yes, comfort, the headphones are made for comfort at 5+, many would probably like to show off the brand, so that's what you need)
1. the second cord comes with a microphone. it doesn't transmit sound well and the microphone doesn't work well. I don't know, maybe that's how they soldered it to me at the factory.

Not for the average listener.

Before buying, I often heard bad reviews about overpaying for the Brand, etc. I took the purchase as an investment in sound quality. After testing, I will say - they are not worth the money, because they let in too much sound. They are useful, maybe for a professional - a sound engineer, but not for listening to music in public places, transport, etc.
I've done extensive testing of the headphones... Very good at blocking out ambient sound, nothing but music can be heard; really good deep bass, I don't mean loud, but like deep and smooth bass.
They let in sound from outside, in quiet crowded places, the music disturbs those around you. To hear something from outside, you either need to turn them off or take them off. You always need 2 batteries. The bass is good, but the headphones do not play 100% pure sound.
