A network electric plane with a power of 850 W and a blade rotation speed of up to 16,000 rpm. This tool has a planing width of 82 mm and can remove a layer of chips up to 4 mm thick in one pass (when processing softwood). Fine depth adjustment is performed using a rotary regulator with a scale with a step of 0.1 mm and a clear fixation in each position. In addition to processing flat surfaces, the Makita KP0810 plane can be used for selecting a quarter (rebate) up to 25 mm deep and forming chamfers (there are three V-shaped grooves of different depths on the sole for performing such tasks). On both sides of the body there are round nozzles for sawdust ejection (the direction of ejection is changed by rearranging the plug). Either double-sided thin knives (already installed on the plane) or single-sided Makita blades subject to sharpening can be used as cutting equipment.
