just bought it! feeling kind of uneasy. I'm a techie myself - liked the look because the bushings are made of copper and not plastic like Braun's.. but that's just minor stuff. we came home with my wife and started using it. grated nicely, then I wanted to mash apples with carrots for her and that's when the problems began. the motor started heating up (for a moment, smoke came out of it, which isn't good). we actually came for a Braun, but I, "the expert", chose this one. now I'm puzzled! From the first use - it started smoking!!! It smelled like melted plastic. Literally immediately (a month of use), the buttons started sticking when changing attachments, and then they stopped opening altogether... Had to send it in for warranty repair, and they said it couldn't be repaired, could exchange it for a new one... In general, once was enough for me, I DON'T WANT another one like this! the motor burned out immediately under a small load; it cannot be repaired or restored. Money wasted.
