The updated version of the Explorer 1000 model has become lighter and more compact, while maintaining its power (capacity 1070 Wh, power 1500 W). A fast charging function from the network has been added, a full charge in just 1 hour.
The updated version of the popular charging station model from Jackery focuses on ultra-fast charging and compactness. Compared to the old Explorer 1000, the station is now 18% smaller while maintaining a capacity of 1070Wh, but the power has increased to 1500W, 50% more than its predecessor. It can handle brief power spikes up to 3000W. The lithium iron phosphate battery is rated for 4000 cycles at 70% depth of discharge, supporting up to 10 years of daily use.
A key feature is the emergency charging mode through an app, replenishing energy from zero to 100% in less than an hour, crucial during sudden power outages. In standard mode from a household outlet, full charging takes 1.7 hours, one of the best in class. The Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 is equipped with two pure sine wave outlets, a pair of USB Type-C (30W and 100W with dual fast charging), a high-speed USB-A at 18W, and a car lighter socket.
Charging using solar panels with a total power of 200W takes about 7.5 hours through two DC8020 inputs. ChargeShield 2.0 technology provides 62 levels of protection, including 12 forms of battery management system protection and 4 types of physical protection. The UPS mode switches in 20ms, complying with the IEC 62040 standard. The noise level during operation is less than 22 dB, quieter than a whisper. The compact foldable handle simplifies transportation. The casing is certified under IEC 60068 with high fire resistance.
