The model is to be placed in a rack or on a desktop. The "body" of the switch is extended in length more than usual (up to 44 cm). The connection ports on its front end are compiled into 3 groups of 8 pcs. To the right, you can see two separate SFP ports for direct connection of gigabit fibre optic networks.

Informative indication

The status of active connections to the "switch" is shown by a panel with activity indicators for each socket. A green flashlight opposite the selected port indicates a data exchange rate of 1000 Mbps, a yellow one indicates an information transfer rate of 10/100 Mbps, and the absence of an indicator glow indicates an inactive network connection. There are no surprises here.
