The 2024 debutant in the Hisense line is a 4K laser projector with a Premium X-Fusion light source. It boasts an impressive working life of 25 thousand hours and an increased brightness reserve compared to its predecessor PX1-PRO - 2400 lm (versus 2200 lm). Plus, the picture will please with an expanded color gamut with coverage of 107% of the Rec.2020 space (and it provides 2 times more shades than Rec.709). It is stated that no flat TV on the market has such color rendering parameters.

In addition to the high definition of Ultra HD, the bonuses of the Hisense PX2-PRO include support for the Dolby Vision HDR standard and an upscaling function for scaling content with less detail.

Multimedia entertainment center

The model connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and the OS is the proprietary VIDAA U6 shell with access to popular streaming services, support for AirPlay 2 and Chromecast, and the ability to interact via voice commands.

For pairing with various devices, there is a Bluetooth module and popular wired interfaces, including HDMI 2.1 with eARC. The sound is provided by default by a 30-watt stereo system with Dolby Atmos.

Advantages of short focus

The projector does not require a long distance to develop a large image. At a distance of 32 cm from the wall or screen, you can get a 100-inch image. Correction of trapezoid distortions is carried out automatically.

The model's shortcomings include the not very wide range of available diagonals - from 90 to 130 inches, and its disadvantages include modest contrast (static indicator 1000:1). This value will be too little if you are a demanding moviegoer who appreciates convincing and realistic dark shades in the frame.
