Gravastar's first venture into the magnetic keyboard segment. The model features Gateron Jade Pro Magnetic switches, operating on the Hall effect principle: instead of mechanical contact, actuation is detected by a magnetic field, allowing adjustment of the activation point range from 0.1 to 3.5 mm in 0.1 mm increments. In practice, this means each key can have its own threshold — minimal travel for quick actions in shooters or deeper for typing.
Additional features implemented are Dynamic Rapid Trigger and Last Keystroke Prioritization, useful in competitive FPS games: the former instantly resets the key on release, the latter prioritizes the last keystroke when changing direction. The polling rate of the Gravastar Mercury V75 gaming keyboard is 8000 Hz — input delay at this rate does not exceed 0.125 ms, much lower than most competitors.
Structurally, the body is made in a 75% format with a metal top panel and plastic base, and inside is a five-layer acoustic gasket based on Gasket Mount — it dampens vibrations and gives keystrokes a distinctive muted "thock" sound. The switches support hot swapping, with each having a lifespan of 100 million keystrokes. Connection is exclusively wired, through a detachable USB-C cable.
