The Google outdoor camera is a completely wireless solution on the edge of mid to advanced range. The model features dual-band Wi-Fi 4 (2.4 + 5 GHz) and a 6000 mAh battery. This makes it easier to choose the installation location, and the installation itself requires less effort. Additional convenience is provided by the magnetic mount: it allows you to easily change the direction of the lens and remove the camera for recharging.

Meanwhile, the Google GA01317 can also operate in wired mode, which is important for continuous video recording. However, for this scenario, you will need to purchase a weatherproof cable for outdoor use separately—either 5 or 10 meters long.

The camera records video in Full HD resolution at 30 fps, thanks to the 2-megapixel sensor. The optics stand out with a wide 130-degree diagonal field of view and support for 6x digital zoom.
