European Quality
Goodram DIMM DDR5 is a line of RAM produced in Poland from the city of Laziska with a frequency of up to 5600 MHz and a capacity of up to 48 GB. Amidst the general rise in DRAM prices, a 16 GB module seems like a reasonable starting option to add another stick in the future. With DDR5, the absence of a second module is not as critical since even one stick operates with two virtual 32+32-bit channels.
Refined Formula
The PMIC chip is responsible for the even distribution of power between the left and right channels. For operation at a frequency of 5600 MHz, the memory requires only a reduced voltage of 1.1 V, so additional cooling like heat sinks is not required. The frequency, voltage, and CL46 timings are set in the SPD chip, which also houses a thermal sensor. If the temperature rises above 80°C, for example inside a compact Mini-ITX case, throttling is activated.
Error Correction
An additional On-Die ECC controller monitors program errors during data read and write operations and can correct the simplest ones in real time. However, there is no CKD clock generator here; it is already provided in Goodram CUDIMM modules with specifications of 6400 MHz and CL52. For now, such memory is only supported by Intel Core Ultra 200 processors, whereas AMD compatibility is anticipated in future Zen 6 chips with the codename Medusa Point.
