It maintains excellent road contact and, with it, the tire's center feel and steering responsiveness are increased. The tire is stabilized against the driving pressure, while its steering responsiveness becomes quick and precise. This optimized tread pattern also prevents irregular tread wear as it evenly distributes the driving pressure across the tread area. The General Altimax Arctic 12 is capable of high speed driving. Its internal structure features a polyester casing and two steel belts that reinforce the tire's durability and prevent it from deforming under the driving pressure affecting it.
