This is an updated version of the successful 2016 series, where Fender engineers have meticulously reimagined every detail. The standout feature of the Fender American Professional II Stratocaster is the new V-Mod II pickups, designed specifically for this series. Fender experimented with AlNiCo magnets, various coil types, and winding methods to achieve a powerful modern sound while maintaining the characteristics of their signature tone.

The guitar is available with either three single-coil pickups (classic) or a humbucker in the bridge for a heavier sound. A bonus: the tone knob includes a Push-Push function that adds an additional pickup in the first and second positions. The new Deep C neck profile is the sweet spot between rounded vintage and flat modern profiles. The neck edges are rounded for maximum hand comfort.

Additionally, the neck heel shape is redesigned for easy access to the upper frets. The new two-point tremolo system with a cold-rolled steel block operates more smoothly, holds tuning better, and provides greater sustain. The guitar body is made of roasted pine, which was previously used in limited series and the Custom Shop lineup. This guitar stands out thanks to its meticulously reimagined details and new V-Mod II pickups, offering a powerful modern sound. The special neck profile combines vintage and modern comfort, with enhanced access to upper frets and improved sustain thanks to the new tremolo system. Moreover, the quality of materials like roasted pine, previously reserved for limited and Custom Shop series, agrees with its premium position.
