The tool is equipped with a brushless motor (useful power 800 W) with a brake for quick disk stopping, overload protection and a safety (disconnect) clutch that physically breaks the connection between the gearbox and the motor when the disk jams. The rear handle of the angle grinder and the upper part of the gearbox housing are covered with rubber pads. The air intake holes are covered with a mesh filter to protect the insides of the angle grinder from abrasive dust. An additional (side) handle can be installed for the left or right hand. The DeWALT DCG405P2 comes with two batteries, each with a capacity of 5 Ah.
