Electronic watches, which have amazing shock resistance, disappeared immediately - I love arrows and it’s lazy for me to calculate by numbers how much time is left before this or that event. So I took this stylish Casio quartz movement. The most important advantage of these watches is their practicality. They are light. A fairly large case made of polymer material provides shock resistance and water resistance. It looks pretty brutal and goes well with sportswear. The strap is polymer, quite comfortable for large hands. The glass is protected from scratches by the protruding rotating bezel. The thing is useful in certain situations, but in a year I have never been able to use it. The glass is organic, that is, light, but relatively easy to scratch. The case back is a stamped stainless steel piece that is attached to the case with four small screws. The fastening is reliable, and provides good tightness of the case. The manufacturer declared water resistance at a water pressure of up to 10 atmospheres. Dive to a depth corresponding to this pressure, and this is a hundred meters, of course, I have not tried. But they endured an active twenty-minute swim in the pond without problems. The black dial with large numbers and large hands makes it easy to read in low light. A unique model, the best and only one on the market.
I have been looking for a model for a long time that is not made of brass but of steel or plastic, that has Arabic numerals, date and day of the week, and most importantly, that it has a bezel that rotates in both directions. For some reason, Casio has many good models with a fake bezel that does not rotate. This is terrible. And it is incredible, but in fact, the MRW 200 and MRW 210 are the only models that meet these requirements. The watch is very light, flat, does not interfere at all. Compared to my Seiko 007, which weighs more than 150 grams, it is just a feather. The fact that the glass is acrylic is even better than mineral. You can’t remove a scratch from mineral glass, and I have already polished the acrylic glass, and it looks great. Of course, sapphire would be better, but this is probably unrealistic for such a model. The plastic case is very good, almost does not scratch, and after 6 years it looks almost like new. The bezel turns very tightly, I had to lubricate it with silicone, it became much better. They go very accurately, about +-3 seconds per month. The main disadvantage is the strap. It breaks after 2-3 years, so I immediately bought Chinese straps.
