Versatile and high-performance A4 laser monochrome multifunctional device capable of performing the functions of a high-speed laser full-duplex (two-sided) printer, a high-speed flatbed scanner with an optical resolution of 1200 dpi (up to 600 dpi with duplex scanning with automatic document feed, up to 80 pages), a copier with scaling and fax capabilities. It is positioned by the manufacturer as a product of the upper price category, intended for office use in small and medium-sized workgroups.

It features impressively high print speeds (up to 50 pages), which makes it possible to quickly output large multi-page documents of impeccable quality. To integrate the Brother MFC-L6900DW into a network infrastructure, a built-in Ethernet LAN adapter is provided. Integrated Wi-Fi 4 (802.11b/g/n) enables users to scan documents directly to mobile devices and print wirelessly from smartphones, tablets and laptops. The built-in NFC card reader required for authorized printing eliminates the need for an expensive external card reader. There are three types of cartridges that can be used as consumables: Standard (3,000 pages), High Yield (8,000 pages), and High Yield (12,000 pages).
