BaByliss is famous for its professional hair products, with which you can style your hair at home just like in a salon. But there are also compact travel models in its assortment, which have gone far from low-power hotel hair dryers and are almost on a par with full-size ones in terms of capabilities. One of the main advantages of the BaByliss 5344E is its small size and folding handle, so you can put the device in a suitcase, bag or backpack. It is also universal: thanks to the voltage switch (125 V or 240 V), the hair dryer will work in any country, wherever you go. At the same time, the cord is long enough to make the device convenient to use.

Power 2000 W

But the manufacturer has relied not only on compactness, but also on power, which is 2000 watts. And this is a fairly high figure for such devices. Therefore, the hair dries pretty quickly, and you save time spent on preparations. Two modes are available, combining power and temperature settings. But cold blowing is not enough, although you expect a full set of necessary characteristics from BaByliss. Apparently, for the sake of an affordable price, I still had to sacrifice something.

In addition, the model is distinguished by an unusual arrangement of mode switching buttons. Usually the slider is placed on the inside of the handle, under the fingers, but here it has been moved to the back. And this is not very convenient: it will not work to switch the mode during operation, and accidental presses are not excluded.

But, like conventional hair dryers, the package includes a concentrator for creating a directed air flow, without which you are unlikely to get a beautiful styling.
