Asus Republic Of Gamers special edition gaming graphics card designed for high-end gaming configurations with Full HD and Quad HD monitors. It is positioned in the upper price segment and provides the ultimate performance in any game projects of 2016-2017 at a resolution of 1920x1080. In the vast majority of games, the high frame rate at Ultra graphics settings is maintained even when using Quad HD screens with a resolution of 2560x1440.
It features a proprietary cooling system based on six heat pipes with MaxContact technology. Thanks to this, as well as the select Super Alloy Power II element base, the Asus GeForce GTX 1070 Ti ROG-STRIX-GTX1070TI-A8G-GAMING graphics card shows excellent overclocking potential. Software modification of operating frequencies and voltages often allows it to confidently outpace the more expensive GeForce GTX 1080 model.
However, it should be noted that such a cooling system occupies a height of 2.5 standard slots. It is possible to use such video cards in pairs in an SLI configuration, which allows you to aim at Ultra HD resolution. The presence of five interface ports (DVI-D, 2 pcs — HDMI v2.0, 2 pcs — DisplayPort 1.4) allows you to assemble 4-monitor configurations with a total resolution of up to 8K (7680x4320).
