They are a perfect choice for delivering in-room Wi-Fi connectivity in offices, hospitality locations like hotel guest rooms, medical clinics, and Airbnb located in the same premises as your main network. Industry-leading 2-year warranty and no extra licensing fees Get setup and running in minutes with the Aruba Instant On Cloud app management system. The cloud-hosted web interface and mobile app make it easy to manage multiple Aruba Instant On APs deployed in your facility, keeping network access logins and security settings consistent. Powering: AP11D APs require Power over Ethernet (802.3at Class 4 PoE+) or Aruba’s specific 48V power adapter. 802.3af PoE alone is not sufficient for full functionality, notably PoE-out on downlink ports. There are two ordering options based on your chosen power approach. This model (R3J25A) is a power bundle that ships with Aruba’s 48V power adapter and cord. Also available is model R2X15A that is just the unit, only recommended if you plan to attach to a PoE+ capable Ethernet switch. Mounting: AP11D APs come with a desktop stand and an 'in-wall" mount for a typical power outlet junction box.
