According to the manufacturer, when sawing wood, the cutting depth of the AEG STEP 100 X jigsaw can reach 100 mm (when working on aluminium - 20 mm, when cutting steel - up to 10 mm). The tool is equipped with a mechanism of the patented FIXTEC system, which allows you to change saw blades in a couple of seconds without the use of keys, and has the function of blowing sawdust from the cutting line. The jigsaw comes with a case for storing and carrying the tool.
