Funds for the production of the first of its kind three-dimensional pen 3Doodler were collected by the whole world on a crowdfunding platform not so long ago — in 2013. Two years after the launch of the initial version in the series, the second generation of the model with the prefix Create saw the light — “finished to perfection” and more convenient to handle.
Ease of handling
There is nothing superfluous in the design of the pen, so it is easy to make friends with it both for adults and children, for whom the model can become a worthy alternative to plasticine and ordinary drawing. The 3Doodler Create is armed with a solid metal case with a pair of keys for adjusting the filament feed speed and a slider for switching the types of plastic used. Organic PLA plastic melts at a lower temperature (up to 200°C), and for working with high-strength ABS plastic, you will need to heat the nozzle of the device to a maximum temperature of 230°C.

It is convenient to control the degree of readiness of the handle for work according to the colour indication: the red light indicates the process of heating the tip, the green one indicates that the required temperature has been reached for working with PLA plastic, and the blue one indicates that the heating element has reached the maximum temperature. The pen is unpretentious to surfaces for drawing — plastic does not cling very well only to glass.

Consumables for creating three-dimensional drawings must have a thread diameter of 3 mm. When plastic is stuck in the channel, a complete set of miniature tools for cleaning it comes to the rescue.
