good model, liked it.

For 600-650 USD it's quite reasonable, but for 80,000 RUB (I got it for 60,000), it's not so clear-cut. You might criticize the volume control knob, it's not very informative while adjusting, older models handled this better. The display is also debatable, but that's more a matter of taste. However, the menu here is frankly slow and simplified in terms of visualization compared to the higher-end RX-A4A and above.
If it weren't for the madness in the receiver market and the presence of software glitches, it would have been an excellent product. Not a bad amplification section, power per channel, THD less than other products in this price segment. However, all is not so perfect, you can read here https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/yamaha-rx-v6a-7-2-channel-4k-8k-dolby-av-receiver-review.17204/ Support for all modern multichannel audio standards. Video signal pass-through up to 8K.
I have been using Yamaha products for over 10 years, but I have questions about this product. It is not compatible with the current flagship QLEDs from Samsung (Q90A), and possibly with other models in the context of the eARC protocol, which significantly limits the capabilities of using smart TV. Only this type of audio transmission to the receiver allows the use of all the trendy Dolby Atmos, DTS-X, etc. I'm not the only one facing this problem: https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/tv/yamaha-rx-v6a-earc-issue-with-qe65qn95a-in-netflix/td-p/3670992 Although the HDMI ports are version 2.1, they have a bandwidth of only 24Gbps (the standard allows up to 48Gbps), which introduces compression at high resolutions (more details on page 208 of the manual). The issue with early versions of the units requiring board replacement did not affect me (you can check if the board is new or not by looking at the firmware version, if there's an asterisk (*) before the number, you have the new version of the board).
