Black Diamond Storm 500-R

The 2024 Black Diamond headlamp is a mid-priced solution that is suitable for tourism and other difficult operating conditions. The plastic body of the model has IP67 dust and moisture protection, which, among other things, allows use during heavy rains. An elastic strap made of recycled textile materials is offered for fixing on the head. The Black Diamond Storm 500-R flashlight is declared to have intuitive controls, including a memory function, the ability to switch to maximum brightness mode in one click, and also to lock the buttons from accidental activation (for example, when transporting in a backpack).

It uses 5 LEDs, which, among other things, made it possible to implement 6 additional modes at once - strobe, SOS signal, low or high beam, as well as blue, red and green glow. In the main application scenarios, the model provides 3 brightness settings, while the maximum luminous flux reaches 500 lm, and the beam range is 120 meters. The headlamp operates on a 2400 mAh battery: it should provide from 7 to 350 hours of battery life (depending on the selected modes). The subsequent battery charging process is carried out via USB, so you can use a power bank if necessary.
