The hydrogel mask looks like a film consisting of a dense gel or jelly; such masks are usually made to fit the shape of the face and come in hermetically sealed packaging to prevent drying out.The purpose of such products is considered primarily to moisturize the skin: the hydrogel, in accordance with the name, contains a large amount of liquid, while under the influence of heat from the body, it begins to intensively “give” it to the skin. In addition, hyaluronic acid is often included in the composition — a very effective moisturizer. However, the matter is not limited to this — hydrogel masks also help to cleanse and detoxify the skin, as well as improve blood circulation and lymph movement. In general, the composition and additional purpose of hydrogel masks can be different, they can also perform other functions.
One of the purely practical advantages of such products is that they are very securely held on the skin — and even when dried. Thanks to this, hydrogel masks are much more convenient than fabric masks in cases where it is impossible to lie down quietly during the procedure — for example, if you need to do some household chores at this time.
