4-line display bike computers
4-line display
— a display that has 4 main lines and is capable of simultaneously displaying at least four main parameters — for example, current and average speed, travel time and distance traveled. Parameters can also be displayed two per line, in such cases, there will be even more data. This is the most advanced type of display found in modern cycle computers. It is used mainly in rather expensive models. This is due to two reasons: firstly, it makes sense to use four-line displays only with an abundance of functions; secondly, in order for the characters on the screen to be readable, they must be quite large, which accordingly affects the cost.
