Models with additional heating elements, usually, are suitable even for high-temperature heating systems. In addition, this function can be useful in case of a significant decrease in the temperature of the heat source (for example, during severe prolonged frosts). At the same time, electric heaters have high energy consumption: it is usually several kilowatts, while the output power, unlike heat pumps, corresponds to the consumed one.
