12V extractor fans
12 V
— in this case, power from 230 V mains (see the relevant paragraph) is meant, but not directly, but through an external power supply (adapter), which outputs a low voltage of 12 V to the fan. This option is well suited for installation in bathrooms, showers and other rooms with a high level of humidity: it is much easier to provide the proper level of fan protection than in 230 V models, and even a failure of such protection and an electric shock from a 12 V adapter, usually, is not dangerous for a person with a normal health. The adapter itself can be installed outdoors. The power of such units, usually, is low, but this is not a disadvantage — they are, usually, initially designed for rooms of a small volume. No offers found
