Wardrobes
Wardrobe
— a variety of cabinets — usually, floor format — characterized by a characteristic door design. When opening and closing, such doors do not turn on hinges, but move to the side on rollers moving along guides (like a door in a train compartment — hence the name). The key advantage of this design is that it does not require free space in front of the cabinet to open the door. Thus, wardrobes are great for almost any environment — including cramped ones. In addition, the roller mechanism is generally more reliable and durable than traditional hinges, and it is also not as sensitive to uneven installation (especially when it comes to slightly tilting the cabinet forward or backward). The main disadvantage of this type of cabinets is the impossibility of simultaneous access to all compartments: usually, only one can be opened, the rest will inevitably be blocked by doors.
