There are several main types of helmets: open, closed and closed with a visor. The open design of the helmet allows you to protect only the cheekbones, forehead, ears and back of the head, but at the same time the chin, face and top of the head remain open; such helmets are used mainly in the organization of fights. Closed — helmets that provide almost complete protection; mainly used for training. Closed with a visor — the protection of such helmets is supplemented by a partition in the face area. The visor can be presented as a metal mesh, as well as a translucent screen made of unbreakable plastic; such protection is used for training beginners.
