Wool pillows
Wool
— the main property of wool is good thermal insulation. Such pillows perfectly keep heat, which makes it possible to use them effectively in the cold season. Merino sheep fleece is most often used as natural wool, which is characterized by a high content of lanolin, which also has good bactericidal properties. For this reason, pathogens, mites, etc. do not start in natural sheep wool. Additionally, wool absorbs moisture well, while remaining completely dry to the touch. Wool pillows can be hand washed or machine washed several times a year. The main disadvantage of sheep's wool is its susceptibility to clumping and rolling. The service life of an average pillow made of natural sheep wool is about 5 years. To increase durability, auxiliary materials are added to the composition, from synthetic fibers to natural down and feathers. Pillows based on a combined filler have a much longer service life.Show
