Bottle jack
Bottle jack
— vertical jacks are usually classified as hydraulic (see "Lifting Mechanism") and, due to their large carrying capacity (up to 100 tons), are widely used in trucks. Such models are quite compact, versatile and boast a large footprint, but they must be stored and transported in a strictly vertical position. In addition, the minimum pickup height in bottle models is quite large, which does not allow them to be used with a small clearance. In turn, mechanical vertical jacks are simpler and cheaper than hydraulic ones, but less lifting capacity — usually up to 2 tons.
