This material is very durable — at the same time, compared to aluminium, it is noticeably cheaper and does not conduct heat as well, which is why it is very popular in thermal flasks. Steel vessels are relatively heavy, but this can be both a disadvantage and an advantage. For example, a classic flask (see "Type"), even if made of thick steel, will still not be so heavy as to create inconvenience; at the same time, such a vessel will feel solid in the hand due to its massiveness. But of the unambiguous shortcomings of this material can be called opacity.
