— a material widely used in straightening hammers (see "Type") and almost never found in other varieties. At the same time, the striker is often made double-sided and different types of plastic are used for it: on the one hand, it is more elastic, like polyurethane, on the other, it is harder, for example, nylon. Thus, the possibilities of the tool are expanded, the user can choose the striker depending on the specifics of the situation.
