Roofing hammers
Roofer
— hammers used in roofing. They can also be called "slate", although slate is only one of the varieties of hammers of this type. Actually, classic roofing hammers have a square section head with a flat head on one side. On the other side of the head there is a specific device resembling a two-pronged carpenter's hammer nailer (see the relevant paragraph) with one tooth broken off. The remaining tooth is used, in particular, for punching holes in the roofing material and bending the edges. Slate hammers, in turn, are somewhat reminiscent of the same carpentry, but the striker in them is square and rather wide — for slate nails; on the back of the head is a nail puller for them.No offers found
