Hammers bricklayer
Bricklayer
— hammers used when working with stone, brick and other similar materials. The head of such a tool usually has a traditional flat head on one side, and a flat or pointed pick on the other, designed for splitting stones, knocking down plaster and other similar tasks. These hammers are very similar to tiler's hammers (see related paragraph); sometimes the difference lies only in the name, but more often the hammers of masons are larger in size and designed for significant loads (in particular, they are made of steel hardened to high hardness).Another kind of tools of this type are “buchards” for applying decorative notches. On the impact part of such hammers there are relief protrusions, which, upon impact, form a notch.
