Carpentry hammers
prices on 2 models— hammers for joinery and carpentry. The classic design of such a hammer involves a round head with a characteristic narrowed neck, and a dovetail toe used to extract nails. There are other options — for example, a tool with a square striker or with a toe in the form of a wedge, as in locksmith models.
Note that the hammers of this direction are sometimes divided into carpentry and carpentry proper, designed for more precise and coarser work, respectively. Certain nuances of specialization are indeed encountered: for example, models with a nail lock (see "Additional") are more suitable for carpenters, but light tools weighing up to 300 g are used mainly by carpenters. However, in general, the difference between the two varieties is not critical, so they can be combined into one category.
