— quite a rare and unusual option: pistols equipped with a gas heater. The supply of fuel for the operation of such a heater is usually stored in a reservoir built into the handle, and refueling is carried out from special cylinders — like those from which refuel lighters.

Gas models are absolutely independent of power sources and are as mobile as possible, while such power supply provides quite high power and performance. On the other hand, such pistols are quite complex in design and expensive; when using them, special attention should be paid to safety rules; and for most tasks that require battery life, more traditional battery-powered devices do a good job. It is thus that this option has not received much distribution.
