— swings, roundabouts, etc. designed for outdoor use have two key features. Firstly, they are made of durable, sustainable materials that can withstand constant exposure to the open air (including in rain and snow); secondly, during installation, such a design, usually, is put “forever” — it is dug in, or even concreted (although there are exceptions — “country” swings-benches, installed simply on the ground and not particularly designed for the cold season). Anyway, for permanent outdoor use, it is better to choose from outdoor models; also this option is optimally suited for public playgrounds. Note that almost all carousels (see "Type") are outdoor, this is due to the installation features.
