Models of the first type allow you to work with glasses, bowls, cups, mugs and even jars, but they are mostly designed for containers without a handle. Hook-type dryers allow containers to be stored in hanging position. On such a dryer it will not be possible to store glasses or bowls, since hooks are relevant only for containers with handles.
